The antique reproduction classic globe bar rotates on its axis, and when the world globe is open the two halves of the globe bar can even rotate independently. Store up to nine glasses and three bottles of your favorite beverages inside the world globe of this Italian-made globe bar, which is part of Zoffoli’s classic collection.

The 16th century world globe replica is crafted in a time-honored method by layering printed accurate map reproductions onto the base sphere. In addition to the spacious drinks cabinet inside the earth globe itself, the beautifully illustrated wooden shelf at the base of this piece of globe furniture provides a specially designed rack to store glassware and bar accessories.

The bottle rack also adds to the lovely contours of the vintage globe furniture. The hand crafted turned solid hardwood legs of the antique replica bar globe are stained a lovely chestnut color and are equipped with casters so that this liquor cabinet can be moved easily when needed. The equatorial zodiac ring, meridian, bottle rack and lower base shelf are made of MDF that has been hand-painted a chestnut color to match the legs and meridian.

Zoffoli calls this bar globe Minosse (eng. Minos). In Greek mythology Minos was the first King of Crete, son of Zeus and Europa. Every nine years, he made King Aegeus pick seven young boys and seven young girls to be sent to Daedalus’s creation, the labyrinth, to be eaten by the Minotaur. After his death, Minos became a judge of the dead in the underworld.
